We need to give a rather elaborate explanation about the sizes to avoid any confusion.
In fact, there are only two sizes:
- S/M for head circumference from 49 to 55 cm.
- L/XL for 55 to 59 cm.
In every helmet, cushioning is installed and an additional cushioning is in the box.
If you buy a size
- S, then the the S cushioning (for 49 to 52 cm) is installed in the helmet and the M cushioning is in the box;
- M, then the the M cushioning (for 52 to 55 cm) is installed in the helmet and the S cushioning is in the box;
- L, then the the L cushioning (for 55 to 57 cm) is installed in the helmet and the XL cushioning is in the box;
- XL, then the the XL cushioning (for 57 to 59 cm) is installed in the helmet and the L cushioning is in the box.
So, it is in fact completely unimportant whether you buy a S or M on the one hand, and a L of XL on the other hand.
The removable and washable padding ensures easy maintenance and perfect hygiene.
