FR SL 80 Flat

The FR SL 80 Flat inline skate is the flagship of the freeride and freestyle inline skates with aluminium frames.

The FR SL 80 Flat is the non-carbon-frame brother skate of the FR SL Carbon 80 Flat.

This FR SL 80 has a full carbon boot and is equipped with a 243 mm flat frame of high quality aluminium.

It distinguishes itself from other carbon skates such as the Trix and High Light Carbon because the cuff is also made of carbon. The FR SL skate is also equipped with FR MPC Junk Freestyle wheels. This boot, this frame and these wheels are of course ideal for freestyle.

Contrary to its sister inline skate with a rockered frame the FR SL Freestyle, the FR SL 80 Flat has a set-up of 4x80mm in all sizes.

It is the preferred skate of the champions because they can perform all their tricks with the best precision.

The etymology of "SL" is unclear, but rumour has it that it is the abbreviation of Sliding Tiger. (Makes more sense to me than that it is the abbreviation for ex World Champion slalom whose name is Sébastien Laffargue.) 😉
