The Powerslide Core Performance race frame 165mm mounting is an inline skate race frame for the smaller wheel diameters.
It is meant for the younger inline skate racers (which often have smaller shoe sizes for which a 195mm mounting does not exist) and for the adult inline skaters who like speed, but do not like big wheels.
The Powerslide Core Performance race frame 165mm mounting exists in various flavours. You can select your desired flavour by selecting the correct size / wheel base in the drop-down box. Each flavour can be switched between a four wheel and three wheel set-up:
- size 261 mm: wheel base of 261 mm ( = 10.3 inches) : it can be switched between a wheel set-up of 4 wheels of 84 mm diameter and a set-up of 3 wheels of 90 mm.
- size 286 mm: wheel base of 286 mm ( = 11.25 inches) : it can be switched between a wheel set-up of 4 wheels of 90 mm diameter and a set-up of 3 wheels of 100 mm.
(In the product specifications we write that the max. wheel diameter is 84 mm for the first set-up and 90 mm for the second set-up, but the specifications are focused on the 4-wheel set-up.)
This 2in1 speedskating frame allows the young competitors to choose between a three wheel and four wheel setup to be able to respect the rules of the federation. And for adult inline skaters it is nice to be able to switch from one set-up to another.
