The Ennui Armour helmet is made of flexible EPS foam parts, for all kind of action sports. It is comfortable to wear.
The separate foam sections are said to enhance safety by distributing impact forces more evenly. (I haven’t found any volunteers to test that theory, but the explanation does make sense.)
Size 54–58 cm weighs 410 g, and size 58–62 cm weighs 450 g. That's a typical weight for a helmet, but if you're lucky enough that it fits your head well, it feels incredibly comfortable — so much so that you’ll forget you’re even wearing a helmet.
The helmet has a minimalist design — and that might be exactly why it’s so stylish.
One drawback: contrary to what the manufacturer and several other websites claim, this helmet is not size-adjustable. There’s no Boa system or additional padding in different thicknesses included. (It seems likely that the manufacturer made a copy-paste error in their product descriptions — and many other websites simply copied the incorrect information.)
With a head circumference of 58 cm, yours truely is right between both sizes. The 54–58 cm size fits perfectly, while the 58–62 cm version is much too large.
Moral of the story: if you can, visit our shop and try the helmet on for the best fit.
