Most skaters are faster with a 3-wheel setup than with a 4-wheel one, although some races only allow 4-wheel frames.
Naturally, all the strengths of the
Swings 4-wheel setups apply here too.

There are two versions of the 3-wheel setups. Pay close attention to the wheelbase when selecting a frame to add to your cart:
- The version with a 13.0" / 330mm wheelbase weighs 161g. This is the fastest frame.
- The version with a 12.6" / 320mm wheelbase weighs 158g. The slightly shorter wheelbase makes the frame more responsive, with barely any compromise in straight-line speed.
