The FR Spin Rockerable is a beautiful, affordable professional skate. With carbon fibre shell and integrated liner, it has amazing control and is perfect for slalom.

Since 2025, the FR Spin Rockerable exists in the colours white and black.

This skate is the perfect balance between affordability and top quality. The Spins have a low cuff, which gives you a lot of mobility in the ankles. Its rockerable, reasonably short frames make it perfect for switching between cruising and slalom. The carbon fibre shell make it extremely reactive to your feet and make your feet feel like the are grabbed by the skate, even when loosening the buckles and laces, the skate will hold on to your ankle.

Underneath the FR Spin Rockerable is the new and improved FR spin rockerable frame.

Up to size EU 40 it is the 231mm version of the frame for 4 x 76mm wheels; for size EU 41 and above it is the 243mm frame version for 4 x 80mm wheels.
The reason for this is to avoid the front and rear wheel sticking out too much from underneath the skate in the smaller sizes (which would have been the case if 4 x 80mm wheels had been taken for each size).

The white FR Spin Rockerable has the white Downtown wheels and the black FR Spin Rockerable has the natural/grey Downtown wheels.

Strengths:
- Carbon fibre shell with integrated liner
- Low cuff for extreme mobility in the ankles
- Affordable (relatively, for professional skates)
- Rockerable frame

Weaknesses:
- Low cuff, less ankle support, not recommended for all beginners (but sportive beginners do use them without any complaints)
- Specifically good for slalom and long distances too, but lack of ankle support makes it harder to land after high jumps.

Sizing guide:
it may sound strange, but if you will be practising mainly slalom with the FR Spin inline skate, it is best to take one EU size less than for a normal shoe. Indeed, less. You will be able to skate painlessly after the first break-in period of about 5 hours, but the second-skin feel only comes after a longer break-in.

If you are not interested in slaloming around cones on one wheel, there is no need for the inline skate to be as a second skin around your foot and you can save yourself the discomfort of the break-in period by just taking your normal shoe size.
